Pay-Per-Download site up and running!

I think it's now safe to say that my pay-per-download site is finally up and running. There are still some 'tweaks' to be done, like making the markup and CSS standards-compliant, as well as some imporvements to the admin side and the overall design, but these are minor matters and otherwise all is going to plan.

Funny old thing, life...

I'm taking a trip home to my native Scotland, leaving tomorrow. Sadly, it won't be much of a break - I have lots of things to do there, including meeting the International Department at Caledonian University about student exchanges, seeking out a gallery and a theatre to take paintings and performers from Russia, discussing plans to export whisky and meeting an advisor to organise opening a representative branch of the Russian National Geographic Society.

Scottish Club Website

Although I haven't yet managed to get a hold of the login and password for the Scottish Club website, I'm well on the way to formulating a plan of attack for the project. The most challenging part will be to adequately reflect all the activities the club is involved in - from charity work and cultural events to tourism and education.

VisaRus has been getting hit by a lot of spammers lately. They're signing up and spamming penpal adverts, pm links in the forums, everything they can get their hands on. I've had more complaints this week than I usually get in two months.
